ma to qualified as sepia.

It clearly has a sepia-like toning

Technically, it is more on the brownish side of life.
Possibly, all monitors are good but the definitions
need tuning.

I shall presume then that both, your monitor and specs,
are perfect and I don't need to suggest you could maybe
look up the definition of sépia.

The traditional sepia toning I did with my silver halide prints back in my college days is a bit removed from what see in the age of digital photography but the look has crossed over. It might not be technically the same but it's definitely trying to capture that look.
To say that is a black & white image is misleading. I would best describe the toning on that particular image as sepia. That's why I called it sepia. Calm your jets and stop being so pendantic.
