managed to catch this little fieldfare under terrible lighting conditions, the meter reading was swinging from one end to the other :eek:

Rofl, I don't think the 400 would be much good for portraits but I'm sure you'd have a go :)

It was surprising to see these birds around here, makes a big change from the usual wildlife. I don't think there's a red squidge within 60 miles of me.
 
2 very well taken shots but I think the composition of #1 gives it the edge.
 
Don't encourage him...... those are waaaaay too good for DF anyway. :D

Thank you for all the comments, I feel all warm inside :D which is more than can be said for how I felt when I took them. This winter malarky is waaaaaaaaay to cold !
