Thanks Kodiak, I've been thinking about ways to have more of a gradual 'coming into focus' which I'm hoping to experiment with this year - possibly a start and end shot with a higher aperture or something along those lines...

I like them... you don't need the whole frame in focus at the end of the day it's only the subject that matters.
