Framing & Mounting Instant Photos

I've got a collection of instant pictures, a mix Polaroid, Instax mini and some Instax square but I'm struggling for ideas to display them.

If framing
AFAIK you would not want them in direct contact with the glass but mounts would be expensive for such modest types of print. So I wonder if a shallow 'box frame' will look ok

Or a none frame method ~ a washing line (so to speak ) and pics attached with clothes pegs.

Another non-frame idea... How about a shallow shelf with a groove in it and just prop them up?

I'm thinking of framing mine in shadow box frames with the print mounted on a standoff.

Something along the lines of this.
