I sold my X100 and bought an X100s, keeping my X10.
Then, I was seduced in a local camera shop by a silver X20. The Devil made me buy it.
Now, I have the perfect pair

Had a few days in North Wales over the weekend. It rained incessantly for three days. Got a handful of snaps during the one hour break from the deluge when the clouds broke and we had some blue sky. Followed by a lovely sunset.
With V2 firmware. Not that you'd be able to tell![]()
Great shots but number 2 sticks out for me, really like that![]()
That's got grey import written all over it... Given the warranty situation with greys and the cost of the X100S I'd prefer to stick with UK supplied kit. Or, if you really want a grey, use one of the larger well established outfits, like digitalrev, but even then there's no real guarantee if something goes wrong.all,
Where are the best deals on this at the moment?
Anyone used Valuebasket?

Excellent shot! I just love the way the X100 makes things look hyper realistic without looking over processed... Such a good trick!Or Fuji refurbished although out of stock at the min - £850
Also, my black X100 turned up todaya few weeks after selling my silver I decided I missed it too much!
One of the reasons why; ISO 2000, f2, 1/40th:
The detail is great if I do say so myself![]()
I thought my 100 was a keeper, till I had a go with a 100s.
Now that is my keeper

Keep getting temped by an X100,it's just finding one at the right price and making sure no SBA![]()

Definitely do itJust check the serial number beforehand, making sure it begins with 21 or above just to be sure. Check on specific Fuji X forums and AVF, ive seen a few for sale over the past fortnight or so at decent prices.
In fairness, a good friend of mine (who actually made me get the X100) got one as soon as it came out and has never had any problems with it, not worth risking it used though. Especially when it doesnt seem to have any bearing on price which I found a bit odd but still!Seen a few up,last one on another forum was 12![]()

Nows as good-a-time as any though, I cant believe the price of it now - yes its dropped massively since it was released as to be expected but the body and that lens, if you look at the XE-1 with equivalent lens youre looking at £1000+ still. You just have to really like the focal length for it to be such a good deal though! Thankfully, I do![]()
I'm in the market for one of these, any advice? I've heard about the SAB problem I just avoid anything with a serial number below 21 right? Anything else to consider?
JRefurbished on the Fuji site is the best option but theyre always out of stock so wouldnt really rely on that.
Some Autumnal shots from a walk at the weekend. I really didn't have my head screwed on. Started out half asleep not realising I had the expo comp dial a stop under! Had to push the exposure a fair bit in Lightroom. Also I didn't realise just how much the shutter speed would drop in the cover of woodland and I had the camera set to not drop the shutter below 1/100. Consequently most of these are at pretty high ISO. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I'm sure we all have days like that. Don't we?

Great shots! May I ask how you edited the first two and the fifth? They have a really nice look to them![]()
I got my X100 last week and I love it. £450 for a good condition X100, it's 23 S/N so SAB free, and came boxed with case, hood and a genuine spare battery. I'm quite pleased light wear on the case and body but nothing major. I'm loving it so far it feels great to use, although I haven't taken it properly out. The low light performance is excellent. Also I had a strange moment when something occurred to me, the first proper camera I used was over 10 years ago in college. It was my Dads old Fujica AZ1.
I appear to have come full circle!
I don't fancy trawling through 60+ pages of thread, so can anyone catch me up on any tips for getting the best of of it?
I installed v2 as one of the first things I did however I've just read about v2.01 which will go on tonight!
