Google Chrome (Beta) for Mac now available

I downloaded and installed it earlier - cannot say that I have found it particularly faster but it looks....basic. Not seen any issues yet (and TP works okay).

Starting to wonder what exactly I was hoping for.

Literally just fired it up and agree, very basic but I can deal with that. Early signals are that speed isn't an improvement on Safari though. I'll stick with it but whether it offers enough to take me away from Safari remains to be seen.
 
I'm using this on Windows and its excellent. Got fed up with Firefox as its getting slow and more bloaty and takes ages to start.

Its quite basic - which is a good thing, its purely a browser.
 
I was waiting for this after recently moving over to Mac.....(I too stopped using Firefox on Windows PC as the latest version was as buggy as hell).... but after using Safari for the last week or so (and being very pleased with it) I'm not sure what I'd gain??
 
Never seen any reason to use it personally, other than testing parts of my site work fine on it :lol:
