HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPPP!!!!

hi guys and gurus

after my pc went pop I was kindly given one so lost al my already uploaded software that was with the pc, it had already had CS3 ready to go

now my kindly donated pc has Cs2 I have followed the previous links for the cs2 raw download and after may attempts it wont open my D60 files but will open my old saved D80 raw files, now i am believing from what i read on adobe site the cs2 does not have an raw update that has the D60 on the list for cs2 please help!

Im not sure that cs2 supports raw files from the d60, they would of stopped doing plug ins for it when cs3. Thats why theres a plug for the d60 for cs3. But prove me wrong.

no your correct, that's the kicker, im looking for what's my options so to speak its just a little frustrating as the old pc had CS3 already on it when i got it, and when it went pop i was lucky i had my raw files on an external, as it blew the lot and was unrecoverable :'(

i will keep looking will let you know, but so far i have not seen one but may have overlooked it

Spend about 2 and a half hours last night saving the good ones as jpeg :(

Whats better between ligtroom and cs3?

Well it's designed for photography for a start. Photoshop is a great and very powerful tool, but it is a bit of a swiss army knife, having evolved as a tool for graphics, image manipulation etc, whereas Lightroom has been built from the ground up for Photography. It allows you to batch process photographs very easily, as well as edit images totally non destructively. It does 99% of what you need for Photo editing, and for the bits it doesn't do, you can easily drop in and out of Photoshop as it integrates closely. Just get the demo and you'll see what you have been missing. :)
