Hello! I’m having trouble thinking of a caption for this photo, and a few others like it for instagram and Facebook. It’s meant to show the difference between a clear face and one made up, how the confidence of the subject can be vastly different either way, and to encourage positivity with or without makeup. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks!

Yes. The image is not doing its job as you describe at the moment

You need to crop in much harder so that it is obvious what the image is about.

Were you after a TITLE? Something like Under Cover or Safely Masked?

Demilions point is good about cropping, and I'd never have got your point from the photo as presented.

Yes more than anything else. To say what I want the photo to convey without writing a paragraph.
 
It's a good subject. I've met women and men who would never leave home without their make up on.

'Public Face, Private Face'? Though I don't think that encapsulates the confidence factor.

'Public Face, Private Face, Inner Beauty'?

'Confidence and Beauty, Inside and Out'?

'Outer Beauty, Inner Confidence'? Then the beauty can be with or without make up.

It's a tough one, I'll give up now :LOL: Good luck.
 
Hmmm.

Going against opinion I much prefer the original picture and saw the difference straight away. The crop is too tight, IMO.

My suggestion.

Pure Makeup / Pure Me. I'm going Pure Me.
