Im really sorry if this has been asked before, which it probably has many times!! Unfortunatly i dont have the time to scan throught the site to find older posts :shake:

I just wanted to know what insurance companies you all use and how much per year you pay?

Want to compare quotes ive got so far.

I've just insured my camera & kit with www.photoguard.co.uk for £31 a year.

I've read some good reports on here about them so took the plunge as my house insurance wanted £90 to cover me

First check that you are not insured via your household insurance. There may be a value limit as you will need to have it covered under "all risks."
If you need to take out separate insurance, then check the policy details for cover and exclusions.

Adukki offer good terms , but watch out for some of the conditions regarding times and types of car. However saying that when I was with them I got these waived. You could also check out Towergate Baker.

My house insurance is with Direct Line, they cover individual items up to £1,500 but only £2,500 when out and about!

I just got a quote of £218 with Photoguard which cover £6k of equipment, UK only, in car cover and no voluntary excess. I don't need PL and adding £250 voluntary excess only reduced the price down by £20!
