iPad 2 problems

Anyone else having issues with their ipad 2 and the current software version. Mine keeps resetting itself everytime I try and do something. Sometimes it'll work for a couple minutes, other times it'll just keep re-setting everytime i touch it.

I've tried re-setting to factory settings, but no luck.

Help!!!!!
 
What version of IOS are you running? I've had no issues on mine. Also do you have any form of Apple care?
 
I'll check when I get home, but whichever the latest one is. No apple care I'm afraid. Perhaps this is life's way of telling me to go and buy a new macbook pro!
 
I also have an iPad 2 and haven't had any issues - hmmm except on 2 websites - where things haven't worked like they used to - once a link has been clicked once, it won't let me click the same link again. Bit strange!! Everything else working fine.
 
Mine seems to work fine on the latest software, go and buy a macbook pro anyway :-)

That's an expensive solution! :D I've got two ipads. One is the retina and the other is the air. I've not had that issue myself, although I've been seeing a lot of weird refusals to sync since the last update!

Have you done a reset on it ?

You could (and I probably would) do a restore on it and see if this helps...
 
I'm running the latest (IOS 7:1:1) on my Air and no issues here.
 
seems to have been a common issue with Ipad2's after googling the problem.faulty chip seems to be
the main cause.
 
Tim when you say you reset to factory settings,did you then set it up as a new iPad?
if not try that to see if its ok like that,you can always reset and set it up from your original account but it would eliminate a possible software issue
