I use BirdGuide by iSpiny. It's a paid for App but very good - it also has bird song & calls too.

I was suggested the Collins Bird Guide.
very, very happy with it!
I use that book at home and it is very good, the iSpiny one is an IOS app so I can carry it around on my iPhone
I went with the Ispiny and got the butterfly one as well. Its OK but I wish someone made one with bigger pics to scroll through.....I am blind as a bat that can't see well.
