IPTC: Creator. How to change?

When I add my photos onto my mac, and open them in bridge, under the IPTC section, the field 'Creator' has a name in it, which is not mine :'(:lol:
Is this a setting in the camera, or on my system, and how do I change it so its my name as default?

Hm, do you have the name of the disc?
None of the discs supplied really done anything I dont think.. will try the again though, maybe I looked over the right disc.
 
it will be in the camera, was it used when you bought it ?

Usually need to use one of the canon utilities to edit this on earlier cameras, think its EOS utility, and you need to connect via usb cable to computer and it will allow you to change it :)

Where could I get another copy of this?
 
That should be down-loadable free from Canon UK..I'd have thought...

Can't you change it in-camera via the Custom menu?
With Nikon, You Can :lol:
 
As said above you need to use EOS Utility program that came on the disc with your camera ( Canon Solutions Disc) You can download upgrades from the Canon site, but you'll need to have at least one of the programs from the Solutions Disc installed to enable you to upgrade.


As a security measure you can't change as easily as you can with a Nikon. To stop somebody sealing out of you bag, changing the name on the spot and claiming it's theirs, as they could with Arkady's Nikon. :lol:.

Nah that disc wasn't provided when I bought my camera ( used )
If you could help that would be great! Rally annoying having to change the name every time I take a new batch of photos :bang:
