I spent an hour or so in the Tate Liverpool this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see a good representation of photography on display among the paintings, assemblages, sculptures and so forth. Photographs by Andreas Gursky, Cindy Sherman, Bruce Davison, Nan Goldin, Brassai and more. Worth popping in if you're in the city, and the Open Eye Gallery isn't far from the Tate either.
It has great windows.
Oh, and Tracy Emin's bed is there too.
