The new 600mm has made me really make the effort to get out and take some Bird photos. I've been pretty lucky this week and after a good session shooting waders I heard about a Kingfisher at a local pond. Not expecting much I was more than pleasantly surprised and got my first shots of a Kingfisher that were more than a blue dot in the viewfinder. I always like to show some action or behaviour in my nature images and this bird gave me plenty opportunity
