Has anybody used lenspimp before? I was thinking that as an alternative to paying out lots of money on a lens to take on my holiday it might be easier to just hire one, that way if I don't like the results I'm getting from the lens at least it's going back anyway

edit. I would either be hiring a Sony FE 24-105 f/4 G OSS or the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 Di III RXD. They are both the same price, £180.63 for 17 days inc delivery and collection

Just had a look on there, they don't have the 24-105 available for the dates I want, but they do have a Tamron 35-150 f/2-2.8 Di III VXD for £206 so that might be an option
 
Oh, just a wee heads up, but it seems their filter is acting up a little, so if they don't have what you are looking for it could be worth persevering.



If I specify Nikon F fit and Sigma as the brand, the 40mm 1.4 doesn't show.

If you are planning on hiring for a sustained period then it makes more sense to buy the item and then re-sell...

Hiring a Sony FE 24-105 for 17 days has cost me £180. To buy it would cost at least £700 which I can't afford at the mo
