2014 - I took quite a few shots - we lived in France and regularly took the Brittany Ferries boat - it was not until we got on that we realised the importance of the event.

Ah, 70th anniversary. There was a boatload of veterans for the 75th, but time and tide (and covid) have taken their toll now - it is the 80th this year, and there are very few left.
