Where is the best (aka Cheapest) place to buy it?

I think I've convinced myself to switch to shooting raw and am liking LR so far!

I've got 28 days left before having to buy it!

Cheers,
Carl.

Direct from Adobe. Anywhere you buy it from, all you will need to do is type in the license number from the box/download.

Amazon tends to be cheaper, but not by a lot. However you do get free P&P.

It's lots! But it allows you to catalogue all your images, convert raw to whatever and do some post production but isn't as powerful as Photoshop.

As I've decided to work in raw, I quite like how it works rather than PS.

Carl.

Lightroom does everything you need to do in a digital workflow, other than some of the more complicated manipulations including layers etc. It also works in a non destructive format so you only need to have one copy of your image, rather than raw, PSD, TIFF and JPEG output.

Have to say, I love Lightroom and when my trial runs out in 16 days I'll be buying it.

Love the workflow, love the web options, love the interface.

I bought it from Adobe via quidco for 10% cashback. Think it ended up about the same as the cheapest other seller I could find.

Oh and it is version 2.5 now. Wondering how long before they call it LR3 and then wanting more money to upgrade.

The price is a lot cheaper than normal Photoshop though ;)

Only buy from Adobe direct cos if it all goes wrong they will support you

sorry for the stupid question never used light room what does it actually do?

No such thing as a stupid question, except an unasked question!

If you check YouTube, you will find a lot of clips on what you can do with Lightroom; frankly, it's money very well spent especially if you consider how much you've already spent on your gear.
