Hi There Everyone,

I really hate asking people for favours on here, but I wanted to ask a favour from someone.

I'm just trying to get my website together and I really need a good logo to go on my website (plus as a watermark, etc, etc)

I am absolutely useless with Illstrator and I've given it a go with no results at all :(

Its "JP Photography" the logo I'm looking for, I'm hoping someone could come up with something quite funky, (perhaps colour) but then a transparent one I can apply to my images?

Sorry to hassle you all, but I have seen some truely great photoshop on here and I know I am no where near that level.

Many Thanks
Jamie

Maybe you coudl post up your efforts to give people something to go on. Even if they are not great, will hopefully show your basic idea

:agree:
Will give a rough idea of the kind of final design you are after.

I will try and get my photobucket account working again and I'll post some up for you :D

While I'm trying to sort that, I know it's not much to go on, but I was trying to get results like the images below;

Something along them sort of lines. Nothing too over the top but still looks good to see from the customers point of view

Why not just pick a font you like? It makes it very easy in the long run!

Yes I guess that would be a good option. Just chose a font and use that opposed to an image itself?

Yup, or create an image out of it, it all depends on what software you want to watermark with.

I use Lightroom atm, so anything that would make the whole process in Lightroom easier.

I dont have a scanner I'm affraid but I guess I could borrown someone's and put it onto a pen drive.

hahaha, never ever thought about that. Using a camera is a great idea lol

For Lightroom I use a PNG file and LR Mogrify

Isnt Mogrift that add-on for batch editing?
Where would I get a copy of that from?

Well Lightroom is in itself for batch editing, LR Mogrify adds extra functionality to the export dialog.

You can get it here ;)

Did you really have to do a lmgtfy.com lmao.
But that's for the link, i'm downloading it as we speak :D
