So this is Mary's Shell which is on the beach at Cleveleys, just north of Blackpool.
Went with a long exposure, not to everyone taste I know. I am however becoming a long exposure junkie.

Lovely, Ive just got myself some Lee filters so this will be 1 of my stops along with Lytham jetty and the wrecks on Fleetwood marsh.

Was there myself yesterday and found it frustrating, such a popular piece defies originality. No matter which angle I used I felt I'd seen it all before. Great shot however .

I hear you, but for now I'm happy to get the picture everyone gets. But I will be back to do like you and get something different, which will be a challenge.

Dark and sombre, with a hint of light in the clouds.
Liking the horizon running centrally on this one through the shell.
I'm wondering what it would be like with a minor blip of flash to hint at the internal shadows.
Nonetheless, a lovely image, well seen, composed and executed.
