Minimalism..?

What do you think of when asked about minimalistic photos ?

We've all seen the high-key misty water scenes with a few rushes poking up or maybe a single tree with a lot of sky, and a lot of mono, but is there anything else that grabs you ?

I'm trying to come up with a couple of different ideas and struggling, so any suggestions would be appreciated!

Bruce Percy might be worth looking at. aA lot of what you describe, but also some that might be a bit different.

I love minimalism. There is something very satisfying about communicating something with the absolute bare minimum of elements. It takes a certain type of confidence to do it, but I love it as an artistic movement.
