Never thought it would bother me but it does really.
Recently it was a rainy afternoon and I was a bit bored, so I thought I would pop down a mates house for a brew. I took along my camera on the premise of using his 1 year old as a practise subject; they dont seem to object too much at that age. I promised that if I got any worthwhile shots I would let him have copies.
Any how, my mates mum is down there and shes an interfering moaning old bat at the best of times. She manages to ignore me taking photographs for a while but then starts moaning about the flash giving here a head ache, this then went into a full on whine about potential brain issues she has (thinks she has) so I put the camera away.
Later on having a look through the shots I pick out a few I think they may like, do a little post processing and send them some jpegs. They liked them and wanted to print them, I suggested doing this on their behalf as I wanted to try out DSCL, and they just cover the cost of the prints.
Few weeks later see my mates missus, she really likes the pictures, she then tells me the mum has taken one of the prints and had it blown up, the cheek of it, after all the moaning she did. Its even worse that she used the print rather than ask about getting the full resolution digital image.
Mind you I probably would have told her to do one.
Also covered a second wedding at the last minute for someone else (free as it was practise), had all on getting a thank you out of them, never again. :bang:
