Big disscussion in the office today, how do YOU pronounce it ??

Nice (as in yummy)

or

Nice (as in French town)
 
i think technically they are Nice (as in nice, france) they were originally released as part of a series of buscuits named after towns and cities (the well known towns of hobnob and digestive back this up)

i prenouce it NICE as in yumyum, pronouncing it any other way makes you sound rediculous and posh
 
i have always pronounced it as niece (or Nice, F****h town) as I have always been told thats where they originated from!

This was discussed by Ken Bruce on Radio 2 last week, many text messages and emails later no conclusion was formed :lol

Forgot to say I'm in the a Nice (as it French town) camp, but my other half is in the Nice (as in Yummy) camp! She's never right though :D
 
I've always called them "bicy-bo-bop-deluxes" it's a generic term.


it was vote 22 in the big tog house and even Steven at 50% each nail biting stuff

Is it just me that thinks biscuits are the most pointless thing in the world? I really don't understand them. I want food that fills me up like a nice (that's yum yum nice) steak not something that's packed with sugar and calories and leaves me wanting to eat 2 more packets! [/rant]

For the record I say Nice as in yum yum nice. I did a google and everything that came up indicated there was no connection with these biscuits to Nice, France.

I dont really care what they are called :D They just deserved to be dunked in a mug of tea :nuts: Aprox 1.5 seconds should do it, any longer and you are supping a sludge from the bottom of the mug. Mind you that always tastes Nice as well :thinking:
