May consider selling it if I can't find a swap, probably not quick enough for you sadlyYou can sell your X-Pro2 and buy mine if you like?
I`m off to good ol blighty in 2 weeks, South London and Norfolk is my destination if all goes to plan. D750 + IRIX 15mm, Sigma 24-105 and the beast Tamron 150-600 all go too ain`t they lucky oh and the O/H too hehe
Nah, smelly ol things they are.Taking the donkies?
Eeeeek [emoji47]Son reported from his trip to London that his D750 wasn't taking photos. When he came home and I got more details he said that he had been getting occasional 'Err' messages and mirror lock for a while but that they would clear. What he was getting now additonally was a black band across the top of his photos. Knowing vaguely of the D750's previous shutter recalls I looked online and the symptoms sounded like the 'shutter shading' problem. Curious, I looked inside with the mirror up and was shocked to see:

The camera was purchased in January 2016 and the serial number is not one which is supposed to be affected. Shutter count is only 21500.

Weeeellllll, I may have PP'd one but I'm not brave enough to share itThe amount of time you've spent worrying about noise you could've PP'ed one shot surely?!
Weeeellllll, I may have PP'd one but I'm not brave enough to share it
Why? Do you share photos you're not happy with?Just share it!!!!

I'll post something up if and when I find anything even remotely decentPretty much sums up all my photos TBH.
That's cos I added grainI think the mono works better. Looks more like "grain" than noise.
It would be ok for a d500
Well, good job, buddy! That's cos I added grain
Anyone shoot in JPEG? I made a mistake with the setting at a shoo the other day and had the 2nd card take JPEGS, the colour are actually really nice when imported to Lightroom.
That's cos I added grain
To try and salvage some pics I can't decide whether to PP in mono or trashed colour, or to just bin the lot?

Took you long enough to figure that outSo you spent most of the day comparing noise and fannying around with 100% crops then add grain in PP? You're f*****g nuts dude. FFS.
Edit:
Yeah, the other tog had a 50mm f1.8 and faired better. I was going to invest in a 50mm f1.4 instead of the 24-70mm and part of me wished I had, but I don't think I'd have been happy whateverLighting looks proper nasty to work with. Maybe a bit of 1.8 or 1.4 action might have helped. But i guess i like primes!
