Looking at buying a 1.4 teleconvertor for my Nikon 300f4 lens, I know this question has been asked before, but I would like the latest opinions if you dont mind.
Nikon or Kenko? The Nikon TC-14E is £305 with excellent reviews and the Kenko Teleplus PRO 300 DGX 1.4 is £190 also with excellent reviews ..£115 is a lot of money if the IQ is as good as identical.
Anybody had/have both and can confirm whether the additional cost is worth it or that I would not notice any difference between the two. The lens will be used for birds, bugs, general wildlife and close up flora.
I think Ive made my mind up to go for the 1.4 and not the 1.7 but there again!
Generally I will be using a monopod when out and about with the combination .which ever I choose.
Thanks
