On a late december evening i took a run unto North Berwick to shoot some shots of the beautiful old pier, It was a beautiful night, A little windy but on a whole what a place, Great views and great fish and chips.

Hi Alf,
What would you suggest to improve the shot?? I have seen many different shots from the area and i quite liked the shutter speed i chose. Help is always welcome.

I must say, the shutter speed does work for me.
More interesting than some longer exposed shots.
I like them. :)
 
I really like the first one, the suggestion of a jetty under the water is strong compositionally, and it only works with the island giving some balance to things.
