Beautiful sunny day here - but somehow I managed to put my camera into the low quality jpeg mode. :bang:

Colours are horrible imo.

Don't think the pics were all that great anyway luckily.

You've been round my neck of the woods then. I only live a 10 min walk from Heysham village.

A brief walk at lunch time.


Gutted this evening, the sun was a perfect orange orb as it was setting but missed it by 10 mins though. :bang:
 
Here is my first picture out with the little beauty. Quite pleased with the result as it was dark in the library.

You have all corrupted me. Hit the buy button this morning and this scabby piece of junk with its crappy 20mm lens should be here in the morning. It will come with me to New Orleans and thereabouts next week.

Thanks oldboy2000 but I think we deserve all the sun we can get right now, I was still slipping on ice and snow this morning...and so were these guys!

I've been messing about with the trial version of Aperture on my iMac, processing pics taken yesterday and today with the Panny 7-14. I'd welcome feedback on these three. Thanks.

Nice - you seem to have a really nice dynamic range in slightly tricky lighting conditions. Love the last one.

Thanks for the feedback Grum, Aperture does have some good points.

You seem to be enjoying yourself on Lewis, nice pictures
 
I use Photoshop on PC and Elements on Mac. I tried Lightroom but it's too expensive for what I need. I may just stick with Elements but I'm tempted by the capability of Aperture...decisions, decisions.....
