Thanks John, I'll look them up.A J Johnston in Glasgow have a good reputation and repair Olympus stuff. I have not used them
I've used them for a Canon repair and they were fine. It was actually a warranty repair by Hdew Cameras. I was impressed with the service from both companies. Thanks John, I'll look them up.

b****r.
haha this is a confusing photo could have not known it was a moth till you stated it as such lolJust back from a weekend in scotland. Weather wasnt what i hoped for this time of year but did get the moth light out once and got this Scarce Prominent which was a new species for me. OM1 +90mm macro (and godox v350 with AK diffuser). This was a 25 shot handheld stack put together in Helicon.
I recently watched a lad on youtube who does macro and he was saying about slabbing with zerene to try and get around the halo problems. If anyone is looking at it stacking I would say it is far quicker and easier to use helicon and the B C B stacking method to get the same if not better results IMO.

Yeah once I bought the 100-400 mkii I sold my 300mm f4 as the mkii ticks all the boxes . Got a few hundred shots with it this week just need time to process them allVery nice.
I didn’t realise you had kept your Olympus kit Jeff. I thought you had moved over to Nikon completely.
Got my mk2 100-400 this week, just waiting for a slightly cooler day to pop out with it.
