I don't get it at all? I had my first one the other day and they don't taste of anything? Is the biscuit part meant to taste like chocolate? There is only one true king of buscuits and thats a choc hob knob!
I'm going to jump in here and cast a vote for the fig roll. Perhaps the most undervalued biscuit ever, and my absolute favourite.
Yeah, I know.

Note to mods - don't bother preaching about Jaffa Cakes :razz:
Anyone mentioning ginger biscuits should just leave now

Fig rolls are great I love how you have to eat them all the first day otherwise they go hard.
I like oreos anything by foxes hob nobs etc but I do find myself going back to plain good old bourbons and fig rolls now and thenAhem....

Sorry, but that just looks like a house brick.
In that case, doesn't that make them a cake?Fig rolls are great I love how you have to eat them all the first day otherwise they go hard.
Yes, because it's crispy and crunchy - not soggy fake-biscuity wet cardboardyness that Oreo's are made out of!!!!
Oreo's are ok, if you leave them in the packet on the shelf at the supermarket.
Or perhaps because it's made in the image of the thing it tastes like the most

dunking any kind of biscuit is just wrong IMHO
I cannot believe i took until the 52nd post, the king of biscuits!
Oreo's ? are they not the biscuits that make fat kids?
If you like a bourbon then you should enjoy an Oreo. They have a lot in common. In fact I'd say that a bourbon is like a poor imitation of an Oreo.
Are you mad? On another planet? The purpose of biscuits is too dunk! My girl doesn't like tea but makes a small cup purely to dunk!
Bourbons came to life in 1910, Oreo's in 1912, so it's the other way around
joescrivens said:Dunk in milk yes but I never understand people who dunk in tea. Hit drinks make the biscuits too soggy. Dunking in milk is better because you get the nice slightly soft touch but it's still got some crunch.
And those 2 years were all it took to improve on an already good recipe to perfection!
