Places to visit and photograph in the UK

Anyone got any information on NON touristy places in the south east? That would be great :)

South Yorkshire - The Don Gorge at Lower Sprotborough
Three miles outside Doncaster on the River Don:
Woodlands; Nature Reserve: Fish Pass; Trans-Pennine Trail; cycling; birdwatching; dog-walking. What more could you want? Oh yes, a pub: The Boat Inn.
What could be better?

"Portmeirion on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales is one of my favourite places to visit - and photograph. I find the history of the Village and it's creator (Sir Clough Williams-Ellis) fascinating"

Actually Portmeirion costs £12 per adult and don't take your dog.

Is there anything within public transport distance burnley area?
I grew up over the border in the pennines so done to death, spent nearly every flippin weekend at towneley Hall, and the singing ringing tree isnt my cup of tea at all.
Desperate to find new groups, but limited to public transport :(

Knole Park in Sevenoaks is great for wildlife with a greater abundance of deer compared to Richmond Park and stunning scenery in Autumn. The North Downs are also close by and offer some fantastic walks and views.

SOUTH WALES St. Fagans

National Museum of history.

Outdoor museum ..... so best on a non rainy day

Book online for a parking ticket £6
