Munchycarrot, I had heard they were in our area on a specific road, there was one Waxwing and one bush of red berries, Iliterally drew up in my car directly opposite on the other side of the road was the bush with this Waxwing tucking in, was rather lucky but very happy

That's a cracking shot, love the feet getting ready to take its prey (I assume)

These were taken last autumn on Lindesfarne. I was using my carry-around camera (Panasonic DMC-TZ80) which produces very good photos when it is in the mood to. (edit: they have gone a bit grey after uploading - not sure why as they look ok on my computer which is also where I am viewing this forum).
