Seen this on another forum and thought it would be cool to see what people on here have to offer.Post a picture or pictures of your favourite portrait taken with a prime lens.

Here are my 3 that have been posted recently as I have not owned my prime for that long.:)

I'll Play, One of my favs at the moment, from a trip over to France, taken on a 5D MKII with 85mm 1.8 @ F2

Did you get rid of the Samyang Dean?I remember following the Samyang thread and you saying you might have to get rid because you needed auto focus for the kids.That was the only thing that really put me off the Samyang but the pics you get from it look super sharp but needed to have af for the kids myself.

I did get rid, yes. Going to get a sigma instead.
 
Here's 2 of my favourites, rather predictably one of the wife and one of my daughter (I have posted it before but it's one of my better efforts)

First is EFS-60mm Macro, Second is EF-50mm f1.8

Yeah I thought the same about the foot but to tell you the truth I was lucky to get that shot with the speed he was running around Les..ants in his pants. :-D

Just bought the new Nikon 50mm F/1.8G AF-S lens yesterday, this was a shot taken today, my son who is in pre-school had his first Big School taster day today, he wasnt happy about it in the slightest :)

wow.... how do you guys get the focus so sharp. What method do you all use, Manual? one shot, align and recompose?
