Though it would be worth asking here as there seems to be a wealth of knowledge.
I have a Canon IP4500 which is currently driving me to distractions, no matter how I try to print, and whether or not I use the top or bottom paper feed trays, I am unable to get the print to feed the paper correctly. From the top it seems to pull paper through at an angle even though it is in the printer straight. I try to use the bottom tray and things only get worse, it starts to feed paper through, and then makes a very load mechanical screeching noise stops printing and the computer displays a message saying that the mechanism has jammed and that I should switch the printer off and leave it for a bit.
I am using standard printer paper, and have not had problems using the same paper in the past, so I am confident that this is not what is causing the problem.
Is this a problem anybody else has had? If so what was the solution, aside from buying a new printer.
Thanks in advance
Adam
