Quick release Neck Strap

Hi, I have a Sunsniper strap which is great, but on the occasions when I want to take the camera out with a smaller lens I would prefer that was round my neck rather than hanging at the side. Can anyone recommend a neck strap that is easy to put on and remove and when not on doesn't need much left on the camera body. I've looked about but thought I would ask here.

I've thought of these before and went with the Lowepro strap. I've ending not using it as the large toggles left hanging without the strap on the camera were annoying as they were far too big. I've ended up just using a Blackrapid strap instead as there are no bits left hanging. I don't use neck straps that often so having bits hanging when not using a strap was annoying. The peak design looks better as the hanging bits look quite small.

Any strap left hanging can be cut off with a stanley knife and to prevent fraying seal the ends with a ciggy lighter, superglue also does the job

Used both methods for years although the lighter flame is my favourite, why do they make the straps so long?

Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago although a bit pricey its excellent quality and can be used as both neck strap and sling strap with quick release

I use these.
One piece of advice...Don't absent-mindedly fiddle with the catches as you walk along...I did but I managed the catch the camera as it bounced back up again.

the optech mirrorless strap is nice but maybe usa only, seems abit softer neoprene with more stretch to it, the super classic is 2nd best neck strap, has rubbery side which the classic doesnt

+1 for the Peak Design stuff - I have the sling and leash with toggles on both my cameras - absolute doddle to swap and change.

My only minor gripe is the strap is a tad thin (as in narrow) but not a show stopper by any means. I've also seen they now sell the attachments to fit to your own straps as well

Im just wondering if you have one or two straps? ie you say sling and leash, do you mean the slide and leash?

Also, which one is it you find narrow and what camera body are you using it with?

the "new" or first time ive seen it Slide looks a better width as I find find the leash a bit thin

yes exactly what i was thinking re the leash, Im going to hold out for the slide lite i think, it's got the width of the slide but not the padding which should be fine for m43 im sure.

Thanks all for the replies, just ordered a Peak Design slide II strap and pro plate to fit the manfrotto. Not cheap, but then with over £3K attached I'd rather not take chances.
