I'm no expert, but does not say they can sub-licence any image you put on the site for their profit? Please correct me if I'm wrong on that, like I said I'm no expert :)

Paul.

Maybe you should have bolded the whole sentence to include "......for the purpose of displaying your photos and meta-data to Razzi viewers on your behalf". I believe this is similar to Flickr in that respect.

Sort of moving away from the point oif this thread but what is better Razzi or 500px?

You want to display your photos, but who do you want to see them?

Anyone who would like to use them

Where do they look?

It sounds like a silly series of questions, but it's easier to find an audience and place your wares in front of it than it is for you to lay them out and hope the audience chances by.

At the moment I have no idea what your images are of, who might be interested in them, what they might be interested in them for or where they might be looking already. If you already know the answers to these questions, then you know where to be considering.

Well I already have 2 flickr pages one for cars http://www.flickr.com/photos/nattymitch/ and one for landscapes, animals and my attempts at artistic photography http://www.flickr.com/photos/landscaper94/

Looks like they're getting views. If you want to maximise views you could pimp them out on Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Razzi seems to have the lure of monetising images via adsense, but you'd still need to drive traffic to your photos yourself as Razzi doesn't appear to have much appeal to the casual browser. And Adsense is less than peanuts unless you can drive some serious traffic to your pages.

I'm trying to avoid using facebook as I have friends on there who think are gods of photography and deliberatly wind me up and I have linked my twitter account to my flickr

The problem at the moment is.. that if I was to search for a photo of a blue Porsche 964 I don't think yours would come up within the lifetime it would take to wade through 225,000 image results that Google produces.

You need to Tag your images, and upload them to relevant Groups on Flickr if you want anyone to find them. The web's too big to hope that someone comes along, you need to help them ;)

Example.. this is a pretty crap image of a Sierra..

But I've had almost 750 views because it pops up on searches due to the tags I put against it.

I know what your saying I do add pics to groups but I don't tag my pics although most of my shots have over 30 views and 1 of my pics has got ove 600 views with no tags
