Yesterday my boss came along and dropped a 1Ds mk III on my desk in a big peli case, it's for my use as I'm now doing all the promo shots and other photo work for the company I work for. And to take pics out of the helicopter in a while, pictures of power lines mostly but the opportunity to have a bit of fun with it is there. I should be excited; I'm always excited about camera gear, but this time I'm not.
Weird. I guess there's something wrong with me.
I've been working in airborne photogrammetry and laser surveying for two years now, I'm seriously starting to wonder if being around photography as a 'science' has killed the interest in the artistic side.
Has anyone out there experienced anything like this before? if so, how did you shake yourself out of it?
