2 different displays :) I wish I'd gone to 5 :( The very first one is an older pic that I've played with, and it's miles better now I can use PS a little! Amazing what a difference it can make.

In other news...I won £50 in a photo competition today, first one (other than TP, obv) I've ever entered :D

011209 : My Christmas Elf!

On Tuesday I came downstairs to find a Christmas elf had arrived from Santa. Named Dippy Dancing-Cracker she came with a letter from Santa explaining what she was here for. Since then she's been up to all kinds of mischief, using my camera to take photos of her new tree friends, and today, she was actually hiding in the Christmas tree itself! Who knows what naughtiness this little elf is going to get up to!

Now for the last pic! 311209. Soon as I heard that there would be a full 'blue moon' on New Years Eve, with a partial lunar eclipse, I knew that would be my last photo. Never taken a moon shot before & it took some time to set up but I'm really pleased with the results on my 70-200. 2009 has been an awful year for a lot of people I know, worse for some than others. We had some really horrible times, with my boyfriend hurting his hand so badly in the summer, but now - it's over. New Moon, New Year, New Start. Thank you to everyone here who supported me through my 365 and gave me the confidence to keep going - I didn't think I'd get through a whole year when I started. I will be doing something more this year, probably more along the lines of a themed 52 - a different theme a week, but I need to concentrate more on technique and learning now. I've fallen in love with the camera and it feels like an extension of me now, which is what I wanted. The 365 has done its job!

haha Fabs don't worry, I had a few bad months then went on hols, but I caught up eventually! Thanks though, your comments really kept me going and when I thought..can I really catch up? I looked through the old stuff and thought, yeah, course I can :)

I'm going to post up my flickr details so I can make some contacts on here and start getting more involved. It's been so hard just getting the pic every day there hasn't been a lot of time to do anything else. Work has gone crazy this year, but now there's less pressure to get the pic every day (I also do a blog and facebook group so it's difficult to keep all three up to date sometimes!) I will be joining in the community more and hopefully putting more in!

Re the Wheel shot - really pleased with that - it was a little fuji compact camera, so it did well :)
