Ive never been in a position to be able to capture any kind of bird photograph so whilst it doesnt compare with any of the images you guys capture i was really pleased with my point and grab with a 50mm lens on the end of Blackpool pier.

you have caught him quite well with such a short lens but it is not a seagull - there is no such species

. Not quite sure what it is from that angle but could be just a common gull
