Well, I recently went on holiday to Zante in Greece, and they have a shipwrecked boat in a small cove off the north shore. I had to go and take some pics.

What do you think?

1. HDR - I found a hole in the side of the ship that looked directly into an almost pitch black engine room, I thought this might be a good time to try an HDR

NOTE: Ok for some reason, the images look really soft after I resized and uploaded to flickr... I will need to look into that. All the (sharper and larger) versions can be seen on my site here:

I really tried to go for a sort of gritty derelict look to the photos and I hope I have achieved that...

Anywho, any feedback welcome

i like #3 the fact that you can see the nice blue sky in the shot:p i missed out on going to shipwreck cove when i went to zante. :(

Very nice. You can't beat a bit of decay and rust!

Nice set. I personally like 3,5,9 and 10..wonderful shots.
Tbh, I find #1 to be a bit busy for my liking..perhaps it would be good if the exposure was dialled down a little or even if it was converted to B&W.
I really love the rusty texture of #9. Nicely captured mate.

Nice set matey. :)

If i'm thinking of the right site (as i've never been there), it should be called ship-dumped cove, as the ship in question wasn't wrecked on the beach, but delberately put there to attract tourists to an otherwise in-accessible beach.... could be wrong though, but i'm sure i've heard that story...

It was indeed dumped there as a tourist attraction, but is well worth the visit nonetheless :)

very nice, ive been there many times, but ive never got in the boat, you are brave.

or you didnt have a over protective mother there telling "dont be so stupid"

Excellent set of images
