Show us yer film shots then!

Cheers for that. I am stunned every time I get a film out of the Xpan. A combination of the format and the camera quality I think.

I also hauled up a Bronica ETRS and a Canon G9 with buckets of film etc. It was a heavy day!!

Instead of my previous link heres a few...

Never underestimate the power of the Velvia...:cool:

More crap from me. I did have an experimental stage where I was trying to use a 10-20 sigma on a Nikon F50. Results are here

Those are pretty good, what length before the vignette, I have a nikon 20mm afd I'm gonna throw on 35mm when its fixed...:)

It disappeared somewhat at 14mm ish. It was quite dark and the F50 hasn't got the brightest of viewfinders so I struggled somewhat with being able to tell how bad it was. As an experiment I would definitely do it again, it's really really really wide. ;)

Here are my faves from the latest Kodak Portra I put through the Mamiya...

And a few from my new Canon 50mm f1.4, its so nice to use! Taken on some cheap film I found and the amazing Tesco developing.

A couple from a roll of Ilford HP4+ I've just got back from the lab, taken on my EOS100:

I didn't know HP4+ existed! Cheers for that, I thought it was only FP4 and HP5. Nice images, I'll have to try some of that.

Here's one from last week again taken in Skye, this time with a Bronica ETRS with 120 Kodak Ektar 100...

I've noticed with my standard 75mm lens you get the 3D effect similar to Zeiss lenses.

Ehh?? I searched Google for HP4 and it showed up as a legit film:LOL::LOL:

It was, but quite a while ago... Wonder if we'll manage to make it to HP6???

Ilford HP4 was introduced in 1965 as a replacement for their HP3 emulsion, although the two were available concurrently until 1969 when the earlier emulsion was phased out. HP4 was rated nominally at 400 ASA when processed in ID11 and 650 when developed in Microphen and was priced at 4/6 (23p). The emulsion was replaced in 1976 by HP5.

Just gone through a roll of Ilford XP2, shot on Nikon F75 with Tokina 19-35mm;

The tokina suffers from quite a bit of distortion even though it's only at 19mm, will have to try and see if I can capitalise on this;

I just love the grain and contrast the XP2 produces :)

Shot a couple of weeks ago with a Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/16 and Fuji Superia x-tra 400.

Very nice picture. IMHO the slight movement of the water is a must and your perspective is great - it the impression of an infinity drop to the water in the distance!

Great

800px longest side for normal shots, 1024 for panoramics (2:1 ratio or above - i.e. no larger than 1024x512px) (y)

Try again! (sorry they are a bit small, i'm not at home so no direct access to images)

One from the EOS 300 I was given, nowhere as good as the others in this thread but makes a nice change from cheap russian cameras!

Hi Jak,

welcome to Talk Film & Conventional. Congratulations on also being (I think, I may be horrendously wrong :D) the first person to opening post in a film thread (y)

I love the third one in your set, a great little camera and a great image to go with it

I'm liking the TLR portraits as well, I've never relly managed to nail these on my Yashica 635

A couple from a project I'm working on. It's the first time I've tried split-grade printing and I hate it. It's not helped by my over-exposed/under-developed (more likely due to duff chemicals) negatives.
SQA, 150mm, Neopan 400, ***ed up Ilfosol3

First use of the 250mm for my Bronica. Not a bad lens, not helped by flickr softening the shot for some reason though.

SQA, 250mm, 10 year out of date Neopan 400, fresh Ilfosol3.

It's hard to tell from these prints I suppose but the negative for the first one is almost transparent. These are scans from prints with maybe a quick levels done on the top one and bugger all on the bottom one.

the last 3 look a bit dodgy to me - some douche had been fannying with the colour settings on the scanner i think.
