Show us yer film shots then!

I was out with my 1969 Rolleiflex 3.5F Planar as it was sunny -- I took some 'Family Snaps' then this bloke came into the pond near our Town Center with his horse and I got him 1/125th at f5.6 on 2004 outdated Ilford Pan F film - I rated it at 25 ASA and processed in FX15 formula but it was over-developed and very contrasty -- luckily I had a box of Ilfobrom Glossy S/W Grade 1 and printed it on that with the D72 print dev laced with some drops of 1% Benzotriazole as it was at least 30 years old -- and it came out well and I scanned the print with my Mustek 1200 UB flatbed + PhotoShop 7 .

You've made a smashing picture here Peter...but your processing went right over my head.

I've been trying out Foma Fomapan Action 400 recently. I know, not everyone's favourite, and I have had trouble with the last few Creative 200 rolls that I used with R09. Anyway, not only do I like budget film, but I also like a challenge. I developed this last night. First appraisal, it has that ashy look of Foma, and looks a bit prone to high contrast, but it is a cheap fairly fast film. No problems so far with backing paper stains. I'm not sure that Foma likes R09, so I'm trying it in cheapskate 1:3 dilutions of Ilford ID11 stock. Developed at 20C for 23 minutes with gentle inversions. every minute.

The above image of the square windows?

Nope, it's a wall at the end of a corridor in my University. You can see the bottom of the stairs to the right leading up.

Had me fooled. I was looking at the window handles thinking they're upside down.

From my Skye trip, I had been to the Fairy Pools once before but was limited for time as I had to catch a ferry to Harris, and didn't get to the higher reaches. So on this occasion I made a beeline for that area to catch it with some late afternoon sun before it got too dark.

Mamiya RZ67 ,polariser, and home-developed Portra 160.

Thanks.

It's really weird how I sometimes reject a shot then, months later, quite like it.

Perhaps mood has something to do with it.

More recents from the streets of Cambridge, and that Fomapan Action 400 developed in diluted ID11:

#3 is a great street shot, just in your wonderful style, should have been posted alone.the other just cloud the issue.

I've been trawling through all my old film photos to see if I have any rejects that I now feel more favourable towards.

Come up with these three so far.
