Sigma 150-500 on Nikon D5300

Hi all

Does anyone know if this combination will work? I'm selling my 150-500 and a potential buyer has asked if it will work. The lens works great on my D610 which is around the same vintage so I assume it should work fine, I'm interested if anyone has any experience with it.

As I understand thats a "HSM" model so has built in AF motor so should be fine.
