Textures

Getting into macro photography and at the moment, I'm looking for different textures that may look good in black and white.

All textures, Dave, will be fine once converted. Iridescence is
plain lovely if you think of feathers. Transparencies are also of
visual interest as well as single colour subjects where one has
to play more with the light.

I have plenty of feathers (and hair) to photograph. Just need to think which ones would be best
