The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

A couple of things from the rumour site...

An A9 due soon????

And... the Batis range seems to be filling out very nicely doesn't it? They're not exactly budget choices :D but I think they'll help generate a lot of interest in the system and I'm sure the quality will be very good :D
A9 mmmmm I have a feeling it will come but at what price?

I think Zeiss are heading in the right direction for the Batis range, they need to perhaps make the following too....

Batis 135mm f1.8
Batis 35mm f1.8
Batis 50mm f1.8

:)

Couple of the Batis focal lengths are a bit strange though aren't they? How do you think they come up with the 25mm and 18mm as a strategy I wonder...

I agree tbh although they are focal lengths some people will use ... defo not mass appeal tho

The only thing I'd like to see more than a 135mm Batis is a 135mm STF lens with autofocus, but to be honest I'd take either.

Either way, between the Batis lenses, the Loxias, and the Sony Zeiss lenses Zeiss seems very confident in Sony E mount .

Yes it's great to have Zeiss supporting E mount as well. Just wish Sony would bring out some more affordable lenses so that I can buy an A7!

So I've heard and I'm still tempted to get one. Good to see another happy user.

My last metabones didn't work well at all. This copy seems much better. It's raining outside now so dark indoors. Hunting a bit now but usable. Was fast when the light was better. This will be a great outdoor portraiture set up.

I'm glad it works I still have mine with sigma art 35 24-702.8 and a 85 1.2 I rate it tbh although I know you had issues originally I'm glad its sorted :-)

although I guess 2.5 as metabones for the sony but no canon camera until the 1dx2 arrives late may so Nikon maybe a stopgap unsure yet.... @rookies told me once you go brickon you don't go back lol
