I really like that....
Lovely tones.
Thanks guys. It was a nice warm morning. I do think this coastline is better with winter sunrise and sunsets though!

Quicker start up time and a coloured focus boxyMore A7V rumours... V? Really?
RUMOR: Sony A7IV records full frame 4k30 and it is oversampled from 7K – sonyalpharumors
www.sonyalpharumors.com
Rumour merchants seem to be saying it'll be 33mp.
What would temp you?
Being honest, I think I'll only replace my A7 when it dies although silent shooting, faster focus, eye detect and the ability to link metering to the focus point would all be nice things to have.
The rumor site on new Sigma lenses.

That looks nice and it has a wider aperture than the existing one, a shame it's bigger though.
What laptop did you get in the end?My new assembled in Yorkshire laptop has arrived! Yipee!
After sending hours putting stuff on it this is my first picture to be processed.
Sony A7 and Sony 35mm f2.8.

Do a nozzle check make sure all colours are working. They block easily if you don't use them often enough.Oh drat.
I've just tried to print from my Epson R2880 and the colours are way off. With this one the yellow shirt is coming out pink.
This is with a driver I've just downloaded. Any suggestions?
My 20mm G F1.8 arrived this lunchtime….. Unfortunately it was my missus instead of me that got to the door first when UPS arrived and I am now in the dog house and having to negotiate compensation…… a week away, new furnIture and so on are all in the mix

I too like your photo, the colours are great. I would be interested to see a cropped version with less sky in it but what do i know. Cant wait to get out and use mine.

As a dweller of the North of England, thank you.It seems to be. Just bad luck really as the first one died during set up and my guess is that the ac adapter was faulty causing it to shut down when the battery was exhausted and the second had faulty usb ports which the repair centre failed to fix.
I think I'd buy another off PC Specialist as it's nice to be able to configure a lap top and have it arrive relatively quickly especially when they seem to be in short supply just about everywhere plus buying this supports an employer in the north of England.
Blimey. With that much in the compensation you should have both the 50GM too and made it worthwhile......
The lack for front control dial on the A7c is a deal breaker for me.Struggling to decide between an A7C or A7iii. Persuade me either way!
The Sony F1.8's are great lenses. Not sure how much a used/grey Sigma 85mm f1.4 DG DN is but might be worth a look, cracking lens? Also after advice on primes. I have about £1k to spend and ideally want a 35/85 set up. Do I pick up the Sony 1.8 versions or alternatives. Could splurge on a 35 GM at an absolute push, but ideally wanted both FLs covered for the price….for family photography as I have 2 young kids.
How important is the EVF to you id say that's the main difference, then lack of front wheel, but with all the custom buttons it's almost a non issue, use MyDial settings and with a single custom buttons you change what the wheels do so can flip between functions. Also with a few lenses now having aperture control you don't need the front wheel.Struggling to decide between an A7C or A7iii. Persuade me either way!
At the end of the day you need to just figure out what your priorities are then the choice will be easy.Coming from a D750 I think the AF is going to be a big difference either way. I usually shoot in aperture priority mode which means less need for multiple control wheels, but do shoot manual in tricker light.
Coming from a DSLR I am used to shooting with a viewfinder so transition to a screen will be a bit different.
Yeah a smaller 35 and a 1.4 85 could be an option. The 85 is only going to see use on dedicated photo opportunities, the 35 is the daily lens so makes sense to keep the 35 smaller and lighter. The lack for front control dial on the A7c is a deal breaker for me.

How do you find the image quality. Pleased? What are your thoughts on the articulated screen? At the end of the day you need to just figure out what your priorities are then the choice will be easy.
Mine were size followed by AF ability so the choice was easy. It's why it took so long to upgrade from my A7R as the bodies went bigger so want interested.
Articulated screen is great, much prefer it to the simple fold out one.How do you find the image quality. Pleased? What are your thoughts on the articulated screen?

There isn't one, there is a built in time lapse but max 30s exposure.I need to look more in to the intervelmeter' use with an A7c before I decide on that or the 7iii - That's certainly a dealbreaker for me without a simple work around.

You can use the bluetooth remote to do them manually.
