No, it's a different fitting unless you're using a 2.5mm jack plug version. But you could always use a screw-in cable release, or the wireless app.
So there isn't a remote release? Odd.

I was presuming you were asking about third-party ones. It will be a while before they are produced. Up till then there will of course be the official, not cheap, Fuji version. So there isn't a remote release? Odd.
Interesting, as the port behind the door is USB3.I don't now if it's a typo but on the Fuji site they list the RR-90 as the remote release. The same as the T1

Yep. Existing RR90 releases do not fit. But....if you have an old 2.5mm jack plug release that does fit and does work. Or use Yongnuo RF 603 remote triggers. They work.Interesting, as the port behind the door is USB3.
Not not best shot in the world but my first quick outing with the XT-1 and the 18-135 just got to get use to the processing the files now.

Most pros look better with cloths over their heads ...Just seen earlier post. Yes indeed you can fit and old fashioned screw in cable release to the shutter button. That works. Put a cloth over your head and you'll look like a real pro.
Love this, the 18mm is underestimated.XT1 with18mm f2 at f16.. Black and white conversion of the lighthouse at Talacre beach from within the dunes.

At last, the voice of reason![]()
This is a really interesting idea using the X70. The widest I have is also the 18-135 and I am keen on long exposures. Not sure I can merit the cost of either a WA prime or the 10-24 for the number of shots and maybe the X70 is a more practical solution. The only trouble is I already have the X100T so that would be 3 Fuji cameras!

The X70 is only 18.5mm equivalent (FF 28mm) unless you add the WA adapter lens to it. SO it is no wider than your existing 18-135. Its main benefit is that it is pocketable which an X-T1 with 18-135 isn't!!!!
BTW you can never have enough Fuji cameras....

Fair shout. I was looking at it with the adapter which I think makes it a 21. Any thoughts on the IQ vs say the 10-24?

Opinions please.

I can see this being my next purchase tbh. Looks a cracker. If I didn't already have the 23mm 1.4 I would probably have gone for this. The 1.4 is my low light lens and it's extremely sharp.
