I found Topaz to be a little waxy in skin tones. Prefer DXO pure raw or Imagenomic Noiseware.
 
Out early this morning with the H2S
Certainly learning a bit more about the sensor.
I've been used to using my GFX recently for these kind of shots .
I underexpose to preserve as much detail as possible and compensate in post.
The APS-C sensor is much less forgiving when trying to recover 2 or more stops, particularly at ISO 800
Anyway, got these to share..

Purely for information
The X-H2S is now supported by PureRaw
First shot as from the camera ISO 800
2nd is a very quick and extremely dirty edit processed in PureRaw and has 3.5 stops of exposure added to the foreground
Excuse the lazy masking. Pretty good result as far as noise goes.

We're not long back from a two week holiday to Outer Hebrides (Lewis/Harris), such an amazing time spent there along with great spell of weather. Here's the first edit from one of the most amazing beaches there........Alfie boyo so loved it....!

How do you rate it versus the 18-55mm? It's obviously larger, but the constant aperture, stabilisation, and weather sealing make it a pretty attractive option...

Honestly not used it a great deal. Yonks since I had the 18-55. Obviously I also considered the 16-55. Chose the Tammy because of its range and a YouTube vid from DP Review where Chris rated it pretty highly. Wasn’t much else to go on pre launch. Build quality is OK. Feels a bit plastic. Optically it’s very good. I’m happy with it. Eye af is quick when using it. (On the X-H2S)
