Well myself and Eileen went out to get the moon tonight, Packed the car with tripods camera bags and the dog.

Found a perfect spot on lamps carlights anything so out came the tripods and onto them went my D200 and Eileens S3Pro my D200 was fitted with a 200mm f3.5 and a 2x conv (manual) whilst Eileens had a 300mm siggy f5.6.

Once set up I fired a test shot ..... nothing not a sound so on inspecting the display I saw [E] damm the bloody card was still in my PC and what did Eileen go and do

She got this as her first attemp at shooting the moon I am bloody proud of her as its not bad for first go with a 300mm lens

Looks as though that is fairly sharp - I'd crop it some more to show up better definition. I'd also look (next time) at increasing the shutter speed so that it would be a bit darker - This would bring out the definition better.

As I am not very good at CS3 and Babytiger wants a cracker, see what you can do with it as its her fist go at the orb
 
Thanks I'm really chuffed with this shot ,have tried many times with the S2 and never got any good shots. First time out with S3 and I love it. :)
