In a remote part of death valley just down the road from where Elvis lives.Where was it shot?
Good question, do black holes die? eat themselves? or just get bigger?
Yes, exactly that. It seems counter-intuitive, because by definition nothing can escape from a black hole. However the paradox arises because of quantum fluctuations. Space is absolutely full of pairs of virtual subatomic particles and their corresponding antiparticles spontaneously coming into existence and then annihilating one another. When this happens right on the event horizon, it's possible for one of the pair to escape the black hole and one to fall into it. As the particle–antiparticle pair was produced by the black hole's gravitational energy, the escape of one of the particles lowers the mass of the black hole. Hence the black hole evaporates.Without checking, didn’t Stephen Hawking propose that they evaporate? That “Hawking Radiation” somehow escaped from them, ultimately diminishing their mass.
Ooh, ta. I have that album. Might have to check out the new version. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11, Brian Eno is going to release an expanded version of Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks.
It’s a shame that Aldrin’s didn’t register during the decent.

Yeah, we watched it at home, I thought it very good.Anyone else watching Brian Cox’s “The Planets” program? I’m really enjoying it.
