Hi all,
Its been a belter of a day so I thought i`d better get my @rse out and get some shots, I wasnt wrong either, I got a good variety of critters.
Heres one that I at 1st didnt realise it was a jumping spider as it was quite big not that you can tell from these.
It was on a large rock so a nice backdrop for a shoot.
Heres 2 shots.

Thanks for looking and this and other photos from today are viewable on my Flickr.

If your referring to little girl's nightmare, yes, maybe you're right!
If you are considering the WB, then nightmare is an understatement!
Sure, you could do better with the RAW file but here is a suggestion:

Hi and thanks,
To the big hairy man qc and Neil, the jumper was on a huge rock that is this strange colour, kind of grey whiteish in colour.
Sorry qc I don't normally do RAW Files.
Cheers jsw

WB is defo out of wack and Kodiak QC version is a lot better...

Very good shot #1 is Graham :D

@Graham Would you be able to post a photo of the set-up you used?

Thanks for your interest.

Spiders usually give me goose bumps, not in a good way either, unless it is a photo where I find them quite fascinating. Out of interest, how big are these in real life?

2-5 mm with 5 being the biggest what would normally be found.
But with macro everything is BIG :D

2mm is plenty big enough for me as I don't think I would have to run very fast to get away! :)

Cracking jumpers m8 - an edit of the WB as noted will make them awesome!

Paul.
Cheers Paul, appreciated, as it's been done I thought I'd leave mine :)
