I have my hard hat on, ready to be batted if this is in the wrong place.

In the trading section I was suggested to use the "gallery provided" to post pictures of my kit, after I said I could email pictures........

Can anyone tell me more about this gallery and how you use it then please? I don't know where to find it, or how to use it....so email pictures were sent and the bits were sold!

I am a photographer, not a confuser programmer.:gag:

You'll find all your question's answered in THIS link :)

To get to the actual gallery look at the top of your screen, and on the menu bar under the "tog" bit of the Talk Photography logo you will see a link to galleries.
Then on the right hand side (under the Google ads) there is a link to upload your photos. Just make sure they are 800 pixels or less on the sides, and under 200kb or they will not load!

HELP!!

I have just spent half an hour trying to understand the tutorial in that first link..to give you an idea....
OK - what is a browser window?

Then you can guage an idea of how confused at confusers I am.

OOps, pressed go before I was ready.

Thanks for your help folks, but I really don't understand. Susie. I found the gallery, but I couldn't find my pictures in the gallery. There are some on this computer...but it didn't link to them. What did I do wrong?

do you know where your photos are on your pc...

if yes ..
click on the bit that says browse then find said photos .. then scroll down the page to submit..

and then the photo should be in your gallery...

you are posting in a browser window....a window is what you call that picture that opens when you click on any program on your computer, a browser window is specifically a window used for the internet generally, so an INternet EXplorer window, a firefox window, whatever browsing program you use.

As already said, resize your image to max 800 px on longest side, max 200kb's, then clikc on galleries link in the bar at the top, then the 'upload pictures' link. Click the browse button on th epage that opens and find where you have stored the image on your computer, and double click it, or click once and click open, then at bottom of the TP upload page, click 'upload' - its as simple as that. ;)
